Get A Library Card

Your library card works at all 19 locations as well as our digital collections.

Online Self-Registration

The Genesee District Library has made registration available online at this time to allow patrons access to our digital services without visiting a physical location. To qualify for online self-registration, you must:

  • Not currently have a Genesee District Library card, nor have signed up for a card in the past.
  • Live in Genesee County, but outside of the city of Flint. (Digital services for the city of Flint are provided by the Flint Public Library, and you can sign up to use their services online on the FPL website. Click here to go to their sign-up page.)

If you cannot find your card, or if your card is expired, you need to visit or call your local branch of the Genesee District Library, which you can find by clicking here.

If you meet the above criteria, you can click here to start the library card sign-up process.
