Hello from Miss Heather!

Heather Harrison is the Youth Services Librarian at Genesee District Library. She is passionate about youth and teen services, especially in the areas of literacy, innovative programming, and makerspaces. She earned her MLIS from Wayne State University in 2008 and MFA in Poetry from the University of Michigan in 2001. In her free time, Heather enjoys mid-century modern design, attending opera and dance performances, gravel cycling, and hiking. Heather lives with her husband Chris and their beloved dogs: Nigel, Edith, and Archie.
