The Genesee District Library accepts nominations for individuals and organizations. Selected individuals will receive the GDL Award of Excellence, and selected organizations will receive the GDL Partner in Progress Award.

All nominees will be considered by the Black History Month Brunch Advisory Committee, which is comprised of members of the community, GDL staff, and Board of Trustees. The deadline for submissions for the 2024 Brunch is September 30.

Please be specific. What qualifies this person/organization for this award? Please describe community involvement, recognition, impact, and service.
