25th Annual Black History Month Brunch

This ticketed event celebrates the lives and contributions of African Americans and attracts approximately 500 people annually. Each year, Genesee District Library honors three individuals and one organization for their service in the community. Receiving the Award of Excellence are Kenyetta Dotson, Carrie Edwards-Clemons, and Sandra Epps. The Flint Area Chapter of the Links will receive the Partner in Progress Award. Also featuring a keynote speech by Daryl Davis, renowned Rock/Blues musician, conflict navigator, unifier, and author.
