Library Field Trip: Fenton-Winegarden Branch

We visited the Fenton-Winegarden Branch. There we visited Miss Chris, shared an activity in the Children’s Center, and read a book in the Mrs. Blue Shoes Garden.

Today we had paper and scarves in the mystery box.

Drawing Story: Shape Story

Draw the shapes to this story as you tell it.

Once there was a green square but the square was very lonely.
Then one day, flop out of the sky fell an orange triangle and landed on top of the green square they were so happy together.
Then one day, plop an yellow circle landed above them and brightened up their day and they were so happy together.
Then one day, plop plop two small squares landed inside of the green square and they were so happy together but guess what happened?!
A brown rectangle fell down and landed inside of the green square and under the small squares and they were so happy together.
And would you look at that, we made something with all of our shapes!
