Paying Fines with a Credit Card

The Genesee District Library now accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover) for paying fees online. It's simple!

1) Go to the library's home page and click on the "My Account" link.

2) Log into your account with your library barcode and PIN.

3) You will see the fines that are on your account listed next to your name as shown below:

4) Click on the unpaid fines and bills link to view those items. If your fees are $5 or more, you will see a button labeled "Pay Online" as shown below:

5) Click on the "Pay Online" button and a new web page will pop up that looks like this:

6) Carefully enter your billing information on the form. If you like, you can choose to pay only part of your bill by putting a check by only those items you want to pay at this time. Click on the "Recalculate Total" button to update the bill.

Please note: a $5 or more fee on your account will prevent you from borrowing items, logging into GDL computers, and access to other library resources!

7) Click on the "Submit" button and your payment will be securely processed!
